In Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass, Alice complains to the Queen, "There's no use trying, one can't believe impossible things."

To her credit, the Queen doesn’t let Alice off the hook so easily.  "I daresay you haven't had much practice.  When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day.  Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

Start today.  Be a little crazy.  Introduce yourself to 3 people you’ve never met and ask them their opinions about one company issue.  Offer to help someone with something outside your area of responsibility or trade jobs for a day.  Wait 24 hours to check your email.  Take the scenic route home.  Ask yourself “why,” but perhaps more importantly, “why not?”  Question everything.  Assume nothing.
